Marco Bodt was apart of the 104 trainees squad, and was thought to be dead. Marco is a Titan shifter, and while he was thought to be dead, he was actually paralyzed for a certain amount of time. Within that time, Marco had his arm and (to be more accurate for logic), quite a lot of one side of his face gone. Why he didn't die was mainly due to the fact that his brain wasn't damaged.. Although, he was just lucky he didn't bleed out.
